This is so fucking incredible.
Stephen Wiltshire is the current blower of fine art minds at the Pratt Institute and pretty much everyone else in existence. With a quick fly-by via helicopter for a view of New York’s skyline, Mr. Wiltshire is recreating the cityscape from memory on a 20-foot panoramic mural. Born with autism and limited communicative skills, his amazing photographic memory and knack for drawing shows a tremendous insight on the capabilities of the human mind. Catch him create his masterpiece in person at the Pratt Instituteor via web cam, before this week ends.

The first time I’ve heard about Stephen was in a documentary a few years ago, centering on different forms of autism and what people are actually able to do. Still, everytime I see one of his pieces it blows my mind. Completely. Nicholas is right, it is so fucking incredible.
